A category cricketers will get Rs 60 lakh, B category cricketers will get Rs 41 lakh per month, C category players will get Rs 17 lakh 50 thousand, D category players will get Rs 11 lakh 30 thousand per month:
Lahore (Urdu Point latest newspaper. October 7, 2023) All the details of the money received monthly by the players included in the 4 categories of central contracts have been revealed. Private TV Geonews has claimed with reference to sources that the national cricketers included in the central contract have been divided into 4 categories (A, B, C and D). Under the central contract, the cricketers in the A category will get around Rs 60 lakh, while the cricketers in the B category will get Rs 41 lakh per month.
The players included in C category will get 17 lakh 50 thousand rupees while the players included in D category will get 11 lakh 30 thousand rupees per month. PCB has included captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi in the A category, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imamul Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan in the B category of the central contract.
The names of Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafiq are included in the C category, while Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ehsanullah and Mohammad Haris are included in the D category. Muhammad Wasim Jr., Saeem Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Saud Shakeel will also be a part of the D category while the names of Shahnawaz Dhani, Shan Masood, Usama Mir and Zaman Khan are also included in the D category. According to sources, the monthly income received by the players will also include 3% of the revenue share received by the PCB from the ICC.
