Saeed Anwar made this record by playing 244 innings between 1989 and 2003. Former captain Muhammad Yousuf is third in this list with 15 centuries in 267 innings, Muhammad Hafeez is fourth with 11 centuries in 216 innings, while Fakhar Zaman is in 5th position with 10 centuries after playing 77 innings.

It should be noted that the Pakistani team participated in a training session at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.

It was Pakistan's first training session after arriving in India for the ICC World Cup 2023. Most of the Pakistani players participated in the session including Babar, Shaheen Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali. Pakistan Men's Cricket Team arrived in Hyderabad, India from Dubai on Wednesday to participate in the mega event. On Monday, after a long delay, India finally issued visas to the Pakistani team, ending the uncertainty surrounding Pakistan's participation in the tournament.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) complaining about the visa delay, which it said had disrupted the team's preparations for the cross-border mega event. Pakistan will play two warm-up matches before starting their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6. A match between traditional rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled in Ahmedabad on October 14.
