Lahore (Urdu Point Newspaper Latest. 03 October 2023) A sudden fire broke out in an oil tanker parked at a petrol pump near Maurya bridge in Lahore. Due to the fire, valuable vehicles worth crores of rupees including an oil tanker were gutted. According to Urdu Point reporter Zain Babu, the fire in the oil tanker started due to a fire in a nearby rickshaw. Moments after the rickshaw caught fire, the oil tanker also caught fire.
Immediately after the accident, rescue and police officials reached the accident site. Rescue officials doused the fire in the front part of the oil tanker before it reached the petrol tank. Due to the timely action of the rescue authorities, Lahore was spared from a major accident today. However, valuable vehicles worth crores of rupees parked near the oil tanker were burnt to ashes.
According to the reporter of Urdu Point, the police authorities have sealed the petrol pump and its surrounding area and have started investigating the incident.
On the other hand, a fire broke out in an ambulance van standing in the parking lot near Muslim Town Mor in Lahore, three people were also affected by the fire.
