NAB APPEAL FILED FOR CANCELLATION OF BAIL IN NAB CASE OF RANA SANAULLAH DISMISSED


Supreme Court dismissed NAB appeal as ineffective, Lahore High Court has declared null and void inquiry against Rana Sanaullah, Prosecutor NAB:

Islamabad (Urdu Point, Latest News. 24 August 2023) NAB appeal filed for cancellation of bail of Rana Sanaullah was rejected. According to the details, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the NAB appeal filed for canceling the bail of former Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in the NAB case. The court dismissed the NAB appeal filed for canceling the bail, the NAB appeal was dismissed as ineffective.
Prosecutor NAB said that the inquiry against Rana Sanaullah has been canceled by the Lahore High Court. It should be remembered that two days ago in the Shamim Sugar Mills case, the Supreme Court disposed of Maryam Nawaz's bail application.

In the Supreme Court, a hearing was held on the request for cancellation of the bail of Senior Vice President Muslim League-N Maryam Nawaz in the Sugar Mills case.

The NAB prosecutor said that the application cannot be processed further due to the change in the NAB law. The court dismissed the application for cancellation of bail on the ground of withdrawal. NAB requested that instead of dismissing the application, write disposal in the order. Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial remarked that you will like the order. While in the Supreme Court, the application for canceling the bail of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Senior Vice President of Muslim League-N, was scheduled for hearing. NAB had filed an application to cancel Maryam Nawaz's bail on the charge of assets in excess of income in the Shamim Sugar Mills case. On March 13, 2021, the National Accountability Bureau approached the court to reject Maryam Nawaz's bail application.
